Beyond excited to find out that all three watercolor paintings that I submitted into Marblehead Arts Association's Centennial National Juried Exhibition "Variations", were selected for the show! Autumn's Peak, Aquamarine and Into Log Bay will all be heading to historic Marblehead, Massachusetts to be exhibited in this national juried show.
Even more excited when I found out that Autumn's Peak was awarded Third Prize in the Fine Arts Category! Out of 850 entries, 144 pieces were juried into the exhibit. Juror of selection and awards for the Fine Arts category was Miriam Stewart, Curator of the Collection for the Division of European and American Art at Harvard Art Museums. I'm very much looking forward to visiting this historic venue, its galleries and the Centennial Exhibition on opening weekend.
