My exploration of the nocturne genre continues. This one was a little tricky - the integration between the light source from a dock light shining into the shallows in the foreground with the lights on the other side of the lake reflecting in the water was a challenge.

I paint mainly in watercolor and gouache but there's always that one oil painting sitting on my easel that I work on sporadically over many months.
