A Little Bit About Me

I am a visual artist based in the Lake George/Adirondack region of Northeastern NY State. Color, atmosphere, form and movement, and the inherent poetry found in nature inspire my paintings and drawings. Much of my work celebrates the lakes, mountains, woods and landscapes of the Northeast.
 
Working out of my studio in Queensbury, NY, I paint primarily in watercolor, often using fine line pen or pen & ink to enhance the composition. I also work in oil, gouache, acrylic and pastel. 
 
Through the years, I've worked as an arts administrator with many non-profit organizations, as gallery director, marketing manager, grants coordinator, including as an executive director of a national non-profit arts organization. Although that work was very fulfilling, I currently am happily and gratefully focusing full-time on my own artistic journey.
