VWS Fall Awards Show at the Chaffee Art Center in Rutland, VT Vermont Watercolor Society Westside Hub Show at Stone Valley Arts on Fox Hill in Poultney, VT I've really loved having Rock Ballad hanging on my walls at home for a little while but off it goes to another show, having been selected for Vermont Watercolor Society’s 2026 Fall Awards Show at the Chaffee Art Center in Rutland VT, September 11-October 30. Looking forward to attending the Opening Reception & Awards on Friday, September 11, 5-7pm - it’s not far and will be a well-rounded show of watermedia. Check out a slideshow of all the works in the show on the VWS website HERE. Another Vermont Watercolor Society exhibit I’m very excited to be part of is the VWS Westside Hub Member Show at Stone Valley Arts in Poultney, VT, September 12-November 29. Opening Reception is on Saturday, September 12, 4-6pm. This is a solidly excellent display of works by members of the Vermont Watercolor Society; we each have several paintings in the show, so viewers will really get a sense of all the ways watercolor is a beautiful medium to paint in. I've got nine paintings on exhibit there. In addition, I will bring my watercolor workshop to Stone Valley Arts while the exhibit is up. The workshop takes place on Sunday, October 25, 2-4pm, cost is $40 person. You can sign up HERE!
